PWASNZ Present NEW Evidence to NZ Parliament Select Committee

A day in history for the Equestrian community of Aotearoa.

Julia McLean, the author of Vulnerable Road User Submission presented life saving new evidence on the horrific number of deaths on our roads (on average 2 per year) and the fact the data captured for these statistics needs to improve dramatically. Julia was supported by Delia (rangtahi lead) and Eve the marketing and brand arm of PWASNZ who both presented alongside Julia.

We not only presented evidence, we gave solutions, and the Select Committee members were engaged and felt the passion and we can feel the change coming, life saving change to legislation and process.

The unity / kotahitanga in the room was felt by all and the social media posts from many from the Select Committee were evidence that we are united and we are supported.

The Select Committee entered the room proudly holding the PWASNZ Driver Education Flyer.

Education and Enforcement unite for postive change.

Inspector Dave Martin has shown our team support from day one. Delia, Inspector Martin and Julia at NZ Police HQ in Wellington. Inspector Dave came to watch our team present to Select Committee.

Watch history happen - PWASNZ present to Select Committee. We give thanks to NZTR and Harness Racing NZ for helping the team cover the costs to travel to Wellington to represent all equestrians across Aotearoa.

PWASNZ want to thank all those who supported our team present this life saving evidence. We will never forget who stood with us.

Eve, Julia and Delia
